FINAL WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
PROCEDURE OF WORKSHOP DISCUSSION

Association for Information Systems (AIS) will hold a joint journal workshop especially designed to assist authors who had submitted or plan to submit their work to one of the AIS Journals (i.e., MISQ, MISQE, JAIS, CAIS, EJIS, PAJAIS, or THCI).

This is an AIS-sponsored joint workshop where selected editors and authors of all AIS journals are congregating and mingling in one place.  The purpose is to have an interactive discussion between 2-3 editors and 4-6 papers’ authors on the same table.  Each author can only present one paper in this workshop and is obliged to stay on the same table.

The workshop welcomes authors to submit full papers, work-in-progress papers, or extended abstracts of at least 5 pages. Selected papers will be accepted for 10-minute oral presentations to a small group of AIS journal editors and other prospective authors in a round-table format, followed by 20-minute interactive discussion.  Each author should prepare 6 copies of the paper for the round-table participants.  The discussion following each presentation focuses on how to improve the paper for journal submission. Up to 6 papers will be presented and discussed on each table; each paper will last for 30-40 minutes.

A group of AIS journal Editors and Senior Editors has volunteered to participate and there should be enough capacity to serve a group of 50 papers. Acceptance to the workshop will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
